How to Concentrate on Studies

Effective study is one of the major concerned about which most of the students are worried especially in today's world of distractions in which one can hardly concentrate on one consistent thing. Every time when a student tries to concentrate he got distracted from his phone, TV, iPad or Gaming consoles. The main thing here is to stay focused however blocking these social activities won't help you any, you just need a few extra efforts which you can try. It is possible that if you try to focus more you get more distractions but although you can try these few tips which I tried my self to stay focused on my studies as well as concentrated which I have followed since I was in my school life.

Few Tips :

  • First of all, find a separate suitable room or workspace for your studies where you have peace and calmness
  • Try to develop the basic idea about your course or topic so you can go through the topic easily
  • Then cover those topics which you found difficult or lengthy by covering I mean to learn or skim through If you have an idealistic memory
  • Have a 15 min session max for studying and 5 min break in which you can check your newsfeed or statuses
  • Remember to fix your break time to 5 min. not more than that as it could possible that you just drag off your studies
  • Read again and again any line or phrase if you are not getting that or you can go to youtube or search on google for a better explanation
  • Set your target for the given topics in some interval
  • It will be okay if you are unable to fulfil your target, the main point for you is to remain the focus.
So these were some of the tips I have followed and found helpful for me. hope it will also prove to be beneficial for you. Good luck!
